STUDIO GUIDELINES & POLICIES

BOOKING & PAYMENT

  • Bookings should be made online in advance to guarantee your space.

  • All payments once processed are non-refundable under any circumstances.

  • Upon receipt of payment, a confirmation email will be sent to the registered email addressed, within 24 hours of receipt of payment.

  • Ekaya accepts payment by Visa or Mastercard in AED for its products and services. All online purchases are also governed by the terms and conditions of respective merchant service providers. Please review the respective merchant service provider’s user agreement privacy policy before entering any transaction. Interpretation. These Terms of Use supersede all other written and oral communications or agreements with regards to the subject matters discussed in these Terms of Use. A waiver or modification of these Terms of Use will only be effective if made in writing and signed by an authorized officer of Akasa Wellness.

CLASS CANCELLATION & REFUND

  • All classes must be cancelled via the website at least 4 hours before the start of the class to avoid a deduction from your membership.

  • Once purchased, packages / workshops / training are non-refundable, non-transferable, and cannot be put on hold.
    If you’re sick / injured and unable to attend the classes, we’ll put your package on hold based on provision of documentation / medical note to support your absence

  • For Unlimited Subscriptions, cancellations before 4 hours of the class can be cancelled at no charge. Cancellations between 0-4 hours will be charged AED 35. Any classes booked and missed will incur a charge of AED 50.

  • For Credit packs, cancellations before 4 hours of the class can be cancelled at no charge. Cancellations between 0-4 hours or and missed classes will incur a credit deduction.

PERSONAL BELONGINGS

  • You agree that Ekaya is in no way responsible for the safekeeping of your personal belongings while you are present in the Studio. You assume all risk of loss for any of your personal belongings.

  • Ekaya accepts no responsibility for any property left, theft or damaged property on the premises. Please be responsible for your belongings. Please maintain your valuables within the designated lockers, ensure lockers are properly locked and return lockers keys to the reception after use.

STUDIO ETiQUETTE & SAFETY

  • Grip socks are mandatory for all reformer classes

  • No shoes in the rooms, and especially not on the reformer machines

  • No food or lid-less drinks in the studios

  • After each class, students are required to wipe down the machines/mats, and put the equipment back in place.

  • No swearing/disrespecting anyone in the studio.

  • Taking photos or videos are allowed before and/or after class. If you wish to take these during class, the teacher and all students of that class will need to be informed and have no objection beforehand. Please be mindful to not include any other persons in photos/videos you may take

DISCLAIMER

The client hereby agrees to the following:

  1. That by participating in any classes provided by Ekaya, he/she is aware of the nature of the class and recognizes that these exercises may require physical exertion, which may be strenuous and may cause physical injury, and is fully aware of the risks and hazards involved.

  2. The client understands that it is his / her responsibility to consult a physician prior to and regarding his / her participation in the classes, health programs or workshops offered by the instructor or substitute teacher. The client represents and warrants that he / she is physically fit and has no medical condition, which would prevent him / her from full participation in these yoga classes, health programs or workshops.

  3. If the client is pregnant, she understands that she will participate fully at her own risk and that of her unborn child / children.

  4. In consideration of being permitted to participate in the classes, health programs or workshops, the client agrees to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which he / she might incur as a result of participating in the programs offered by the instructor or substitute teacher.

  5. In further consideration of being permitted to participate in the yoga classes, health programs or workshops, the client knowingly, voluntarily and expressly waives any claim he / she may have against the instructor or substitute teacher for injury or damages that he / she may sustain as a result of participating in these programs.

  6. The client understands that from time to time during yoga classes, the instructor may physically adjust the student's form and posture. If the client does not want such physical adjustments, he / she will inform the instructor at each class he / she attends. The client also acknowledges that if he / she wishes to receive such adjustments, it is his / her responsibility to inform the instructor when an adjustment has gone as far as the client desires at that time.

  7. The client takes full and sole responsibility for any liability of loss or damage to personal property associated with classes or any other events.
